Not all disposable masks are medical masks. A medical mask is a protective face covering that meets very strict guidelines for filtration, splash resistance and breathability. A medical mask, amongst other criterion, must have a BFE (bacterial filtration efficiency) of 95% or higher. Not only are our medical masks FDA registered, we also go the extra step of SGS testing and certifying our masks so you don’t have to just take our word for it.
Our masks look great, but it’s what’s inside that (really) counts. We only use medical-grade, hypoallergenic and latex-free materials so even the most sensitive skin is protected. Our masks are also 100% free from toxins, graphene, and biographene.
All of our masks use a multi-layer construction (moisture-absorbing interior, splash resistant exterior, and a meltblown center) made out of 100% polypropylene for superior filtration and comfort. All of our masks are 3-ply with the exception of the adult black mask, which uses 4-ply construction to ensure a completely matte black look. This added layer may feel a touch thicker but offers the same tested breathability and filtration as our other masks.
• Adult and Kids’ Green Mask — one green non-woven outer layer, one black meltblown center, and one white non-woven inner layer;
• Adult Black Mask — two black non-woven outer layers, one white meltblown center, and one white non-woven inner layer;
• Kids’ Black Mask — one black non-woven outer layer, one white meltblown center, and one white non-woven inner layer;
• Adult and Kids’ White Mask — one white non-woven outer layer, one white meltblown center, and one white non-woven inner layer;
• Adult and Kids’ Gray Mask — one gray non-woven outer layer, one black meltblown center, and one white non-woven inner layer.
• Adult and Kids’ Navy Mask — one navy non-woven outer layer, one black meltblown center, and one white non-woven inner layer.
The adjustable nose bridge is composed of 65% ironwire and 35% polyethylene. And our soft, no-tug ear loops are made out of 84.5% nylon and 15.5% spandex.
Great question. The short answer no — we make disposable, single-use medical masks for a reason: to provide maximum protection. The long answer is that a medical masks’ materials and meltblown center can degrade when washing, and wearing it beyond the recommended time frame risks losing its protective power. Our masks are designed to work hard all day and are SGS-tested to provide maximum protection up to 8-10 hours with proper care. That means washing your hands before touching, keeping it clean, and disposing of your mask after the recommended time. To keep it clean during its daily use, use a mask keeper to stash your mask safely when not in use (no more dirty pockets or consoles) and extend the life of your mask during use!
However, you do you. We trust your own judgement to wear and care for your mask in a way that you are most comfortable with.
Yep! We are one of the only consumer-facing medical masks that is FDA registered. Additionally, SGS, a world leader in third-party consumer product testing, has verified our masks as Medical Grade Type IIR, a proven indicator of high breathability, excellent splash resistance and superior filtration. SGS has also certified our kids’ decals as non-toxic.
All of our masks are made in a socially-responsible FDA registered factory that has long specialized in PPE production. The workers wear full PPE within the factory and utilize technology to ensure a fully sterile process from the production line to your doorstep.
Those three letters are super important. Particle Filtration Efficiency (also known as PFE) and Bacterial Filtration (BFE)are measurements of how effective a mask filters particles and bacteria.
Specifically, PFE measures how well a mask’s materials can resist penetration of particles at sub-micron levels and BFE measures how well a mask can resists the penetration of bacteria. Efficacy results are reported as a percentage and indicate the ability of the fabric to resist particle and bacterial penetration.
Basically, the higher the BFE or PFE number, the better the barrier efficiency.
Our evolvetogether™ adult masks go beyond the baseline medical mask criterion and are SGS-tested and proven to have a BFE greater than 98% and a PFE greater than 95%. Our kids’ masks, designed for maximum breathability while still providing superior protection, offer a BFE greater than 95% and a PFE greater than 90%.
Yep! In fact, we’re the go-to mask for makeup artists and stylists thanks to our skin-loving material and high breathability. We know that cloth masks can cause issues for sensitive skin when they aren’t breathable enough or washed daily — and we wanted to make sure that our medical masks were both hypoallergenic and latex free so they wouldn’t irritate even the most sensitive skin.
Our medical masks are designed with three layers that all perform very specific functions — a waterproof outer layer to block airborne contaminants, a meltblown fabric center to filter bacteria and particles, and a moisture-absorbing interior. These layers work together to protect both yourself and others. Both 2-ply and cloth face coverings (usually made from polyester or cotton), just can’t measure up because they are not constructed the same way. They may block the expulsion of some airborne contaminants but offer little to zero protection against pollution, viruses or bacteria. Plus, each time a cloth mask is laundered, its fibers lose some of their efficacy.
Whether you’re facing poor air quality or trying your best to stay (and keep others) healthy, our single use evolvetogether™ medical masks protect you from bacteria, dust, pollen, smoke, debris and germs from seasonal cold and flu. Plus, our masks are super breathable and lightweight, making them easy to wear all day long.
Athletes and runners love our medical masks thanks to featherlight construction and an incredibly breathable and moisture-absorbing inner layer. Plus, our hypoallergenic masks won’t irritate sensitive skin. So, you can’t use wearing a mask as an excuse to not workout anymore. 😉
It’s absolutely OK. Mask pleats are designed to help you adjust your mask over your chin and nose — they have zero impact on the efficacy of the mask, whichever way they face. While downward pleats (like our white mask!) are super common, we intentionally fold our black and green masks’ pleats upward to allow for a completely solid, monochromatic color during its color printing process!
We promise that the upward pleat will not interfere with the mask’s filtration — in fact, upward pleats can be found on Japanese surgical masks and even those produced by professional medical mask manufacturers!
But you don’t need to just take our word for it. All of our medical masks go through rigorous, third-party SGS testing to verify both the size and the percentage of particles that are filtered by the mask. We can confidently state that our medical masks (regardless of pleat style) filter out particles as small as 0.3 microns — which is really important because particles ranging from 0.3 to 0.9 micron present the greatest health concern because they are small enough to get past the tiny hairs that line our breathing passages and are too large to be easily exhaled. For context, a single hair on a human head is about 70 microns in diameter!
Pleats up, pleats down — you can feel confident that our medical masks work.
Step 1: Wash your hands. Step 2: Fold mask in half. Step 3: Secure ear loop strings over your ears Step 4: Fit nose bridge Step 5: Pull mask vertically and form to your face.
Care Tip: Avoid touching your face or the mask once it’s on, and use the mask keeper to store your mask when you need to safely stash it between uses. Each evolvetogether™ medical mask is designed for single use. Dispose of the mask properly after its recommended 8-10 hour use.
We know how hard it can be to find a stylish mask that fits if you’re an adult with a petite face. Our kids’ masks are the perfect solution — perfectly proportioned for petite faces while offering the identical materials and minimalist style of our adult masks. You can see our sizing information below!
Mask Dimensions: Kids’ masks: 5.71” x 3.74” (14.5cm x 9.5cm) Adult masks: 6.89” x 3.74” (17.5cm x 9.5cm)
Glad you asked. Our masks are designed for a universal fit thanks to streamlined pleating and soft, stretchy ear loops that fit most folks. However, we know that universal doesn’t mean everyone, so you may need to modify your mask slightly for a better fit. To close significant gaps, we recommend knotting the ends of each ear loop for a smaller fit. Likewise, if you need a slightly larger fit, we recommend folding the mask in half, holding where the loop attaches to the mask, and pulling gently to stretch the ear loops for added comfort.
Our kids’ single-use masks are designed for kids 3-10 years old and are made in a FDA-registered factory using the same medical grade materials as our adult masks — just in a smaller size. There is a slight difference in the BFE and PFE numbers (>95% BFE and >90% PFE compared to our adult masks >98% BFE and >95% PFE) to give our kids’ masks an even more breathable, featherlight feel — and they come with a sheet of SGS-tested, non-toxic, mask-friendly decals to make mask wearing fun. And don’t worry, we won’t blame you if you want to steal a few decals for yourself. 😉
Ready to get in on the fun with our non-toxic, mask-friendly decals? Let’s go! First things first, wash your hands and then lay your mask on the paper mat to keep your mask clean while you get crafty. Next, choose which decals you want to use and cut them out. Peel off the decal’s protective backing and place each decal sticky side down on the mask — and then use the wooden stick to rub your heart out! Once you’ve transferred the decal, peel away the paper to reveal your super creative, super you mask.
Yep! A lightweight, metal nose bridge is included in each evolvetogether™ mask. You can gently shape it to fit your nose; or for an even sharper look, fold the entire mask in half, including nose bridge, before wearing.
Great question! All evolvetogether™ packaging and mask keepers are made from recycled paper or plant-based materials that are 100% biodegradable and compostable. We’d love you to recycle your mask, too! To recycle your mask, we recommend researching your local sanitation rules as recycling programs vary from location to location. Our masks are also recyclable (you may need to remove the ear loops, a spandex/nylon blend, for separate processing). Not able to recycle your mask? It’s a bummer, but you can still help protect the planet — don’t litter and prevent your mask from getting tangled on wildlife by folding in or cutting off the ear loops before disposing in a trash bin.
The bottom line is, safety and sustainability are incredibly important to us, and we’re always working on new ways to minimize waste and impact wherever we can safely do so. Our ultimate goal is to create a closed loop company — and we’re on track to get there!
Those numbers on your mask? Those are global coordinates representing different parts of the world. It’s our subtle nod to the idea that we’re all connected regardless of gender, race, religion, or where we live — and that when we wear masks, we’re doing our own small part to take care of each other. Whatever the print or color of your mask, the materials, construction and quality of our masks is the same.
Each colored mask comes with its own coordinates:
NYC - a white mask with NYC coordinates
Milan - a black mask with Milan coordinates
Amazonia - a green mask with Amazonian Basin coordinates
Tokyo - a gray mask with Tokyo coordinates
Paris - a navy mask with Notre-Dame’s coordinates
Mask keepers are exactly what they sound like — a simple way to keep your mask clean when you’re out and about (no more stashing masks in dirty purses and pockets). Each mask set comes with one or two plant-based mask keepers (or you can buy additional mask keepers in fun, limited edition prints) — and they are awesome. Simply lay your mask flat on top of the mask keeper, fold per the instructions, and then loop the mask’s ear loops around its notches to secure. Voila! A pocket-sized carrier for on-the-go storage to keep your mask c-l-e-a-n.

evolvetogether™ fog eraser
Yep! Wipe your heart out. Though it’s possible you may notice a bit more condensation than on uncoated glasses depending on the coating, our Fog Eraser absolutely works on coated glasses and will not damage the lenses.
Yes! The Fog Eraser is SGS-tested and has zero heavy metals and zero alcohol. Instead, the Fog Eraser uses a patented nanotechnology that leaves an atom-sized barrier on the hard surface after each wipe. This nanotechnology works like a shield, blocking fog and bacteria for up to 24 hours.
No — washing it will damage the very cool, very high tech nanotechnology that makes the Fog Eraser work.
Although the Fog Eraser is anti-bacterial (meaning it eliminates or suppresses most bacteria), it is not a disinfectant and should be cared for to keep as clean as possible. Because it cannot be washed without affecting the nanotechnology, we recommend only using the Fog Eraser on dry, clean surfaces and then storing in its pouch between uses so it stays germ-free until it is ready to be replaced after 3 to 6 months (about 200 uses).
It’s super simple! Just wipe, put the Fog Eraser back in its pouch, and go!
But if you want to get more technical, you should first remove any hard particles from the surface (like sand) and then evenly wipe the dry surface for 10 seconds (and don’t forget to wipe both sides of your glasses, goggles and helmets). For even better protection, first wipe the dry surface as instructed, then breathe lightly to fog the surface and wipe for another 10 seconds.
Avoid touching or wiping the surface with other things (we’re looking at you, t-shirt sleeve and glass cleaner!) — you’ll need to use the Fog Eraser again if you do.
With proper care, most surfaces will stay clear for 24 hours after wiping — and each Fog Eraser lasts for 3 to 6 months (about 200 wipes) before it needs to be recycled with other textile and replaced. Extreme temperatures and high humidity may mean you need to wipe more frequently, and you’ll definitely need to wipe the Fog Eraser again if you’ve rubbed or cleaned the surface.
For best results, use daily, store properly, and replace after 200+ uses.
The Fog Eraser is designed for hard, dry surfaces where good vision is critical — your glasses, sunglasses, camera lenses, ski goggles, helmets, and even bathroom mirrors! Just make sure to remove any hard particles (think sand) before wiping so you don’t accidentally scratch the surface.
Although it won’t damage your phone screen, it’s likely your fingers will rub off the Fog Eraser’s nanofilm if you’ve got a touch screen device — so we don’t recommend it. The Fog Eraser is not a disinfectant wipe — so do not use it to clean doorknobs or other frequently touched surfaces.
Completely different! The Fog Eraser uses patented nanotechnology to leave an atom-sized nanofilm to block fog and bacteria. It’s 100% dry and 100% odorless.
Nope — just wipe the dry cloth, put it back in its storage pouch, and go. No smelly chemicals or messy liquids needed.
Each Fog Eraser should last 3 to 6 months (or 200+ uses) with proper care — that means keeping it safely stashed in the storage pouch it came in when not in use.
The Fog Eraser is a 7” square — perfectly sized for everything from tiny camera lenses to mirrors.
Great question! All of our products are marked with different global coordinates — the ones on the Fog Eraser belong to London’s Royal Observatory (also known for being the official Prime Meridian line). The coordinates, along with the phrase, are a subtle reminder that 8 billion people share this one beautiful planet — and we’re all connected no matter our gender, race, religion or where we live. That’s why we are committed to doing good, every day. Together.
evolvetogether™ hand sanitizer
It is! With just four plant-based ingredients, our hand sanitizer is one of the most natural ways to kill 99.9% of common germs! Plus, the scent is from organic essential oils, so it isn’t overwhelming and fades to neutral, making it ideal for even scent-sensitive kids.
However, it does contain 80% ethyl alcohol made from organic sugarcane, so you should supervise children under 6 years of age to make sure they don’t swallow it — and we do not recommend using it on children under 2 months.
We’ve formulated our hand sanitizer to be natural, non-drying, and effective. Organic glycerine made from vegetables and plants keeps hands hydrated (even with all-day use), and the other plant-based ingredients (like organic essential oils) are designed to be non-irritating. Of course, each person’s skin is unique, so if you have any sensitivities to any ingredients, you may want to patch test or consult your dermatologist.
Great question! It is lightly fragranced using only organic essential lemon and bergamot oils — so the scent is completely natural (no synthetics!) and fades to neutral. We love that it’s fresh and calming scent is ideal for any occasion or gender, doesn’t linger, and is completely natural.
Yes — 80% ethyl alcohol made from organic sugarcane to naturally kill 99.9% of common germs.
Our hand sanitizer only uses four (yes, f-o-u-r) plant-based ingredients to naturally kill 99.9% of common germs: 80% ethyl alcohol (made from organic sugarcane), organic glycerine (made from vegetables and plants), and organic lemon and bergamot essential oils.
evolvetogether™ water bottle
Hi! Our water bottle is made by in Switzerland by SIGG, who has been making high-quality water bottles for over 110 years. In fact, two of their water bottles are even on permanent display in the Museum of Modern Art!
Our water bottle is made by SIGG using a single piece of high-quality, nearly indestructible aluminum. Its interior is coated with a food safe, non-toxic liner that resists fruit acids and keeps your water tasting, well, like water! And the lid is made with recycled plastic.
Yes! Our water bottle is non-toxic, food-safe, and free of any pollutants. It is made with forever-recyclable aluminum (although you’ll want to keep it forever) and is 100% BPA-free.
The opening of the water bottle is 1.25 in / 3.175 cm.
Because our water bottle is not insulated, we don’t recommend hot beverages. However, it is great for many other types of drinks besides water including acidic drinks, sparkling drinks, milk, alcohol, apple and even lemon juice! However, avoid leaving drinks with natural fermentation processes (such as milk) inside the bottle for long periods of time, as the fermentation can produce strong gases and smells which can be tough to get rid of.
We recommend cleaning your bottle regularly by hand. Rinse out the bottle and bottle top with hot water after every use, leave open to dry, and always store it with the top off.

Great question. First off — a few things they have in common. All of our masks are made using medical grade materials in an FDA-registered factory that specializes in protective medical equipment. They are all hypoallergenic and 100% free from toxins, graphene, and biographene — and of course, they all share a minimal style and are designed to be lightweight, breathable, and comfortable.
So, what makes them different?
Our everyday medical masks have 3 layers (including a meltblown center) and are designed for everyday health to keep out bacteria, allergens, and pollution. They’re a high-performing everyday option for working out, running errands, you name it. This is our go-to mask day in, day out.
But, when we are traveling or going to be in higher risk situations (like a crowded indoor space for a longer period of time), we might reach for the KN95. It has 6 layers (including two meltblown centers and a layer of activated carbon) and has a larger, more secure fit around the perimeter of the mask.
